If you’re more of a night owl, Hakuba Goryu is the only resort in the Hakuba Valley to offer night skiing every day of the season. Ski and Five Goryu are the base of Hakuba Goryu, offering a wide range of services and amenities to make your day on the mountain smooth and enjoyable. Rent your ski gear here, and hit the slopes then enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants including Sol, serving many plant-based options, or recharge at Lift Up Coffee, a cafe serving Melbourne-style espresso. Newbies should start at recently opened Hop Step Park, on the beginner slope where first-timers can expect to safely learn the basics of skiing and snowboarding in a controlled environment, gaining confidence before tackling the main slopes.<\/p>

Those looking for more of a thrill should check out Goryu Waves, a rhythmic skiing experience with continuous banked turns. 5. Sustainability at the Core<\/h3>

Hakuba Goryu is proud to be leading the way in eco-friendly resort management in Japan. In 2023, the resort moved to 100% renewal energy for all operations including lifts, gondolas, shops, restaurants, and snow machines. Night skiing has been powered by renewable energy since 2020, and from this season energy-efficient LED lighting will debut on all night slopes.<\/p>
