THE LONG SEASON<\/strong> Hakuba 47 consistently has one of the longest seasons in the valley. This resort works diligently every year to be the first and last to have runs open from top to bottom. As a ski school, we love this as it’s all depend on the weather conditions instead of the lift access conditions\u2014even during the early and late season.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

LIFT SYSTEM PLAN FOR THE VALLEY<\/strong> Ben, one of our senior snowboard instructors, says, “The 47 freestyle park is built early in the season and usually maintained until the end. It has a wide variety of features from super mellow beginner to advanced.” The park is home to Olympic hopefuls and weekend warriors alike.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

ONE PASS, 5 RESORTS<\/strong> Hakuba 47 is connected to Hakuba Goryu and Iimori. One lift pass allows access to all three resorts. BEGINNER RUNS AT MID-MOUNTAIN<\/strong> Unlike most other resorts in the valley, Hakuba 47’s beginner terrain is mid-mountain. All of our beginner lessons start from the mid-mountain base, which provides our students with an authentic mountain experience and better snow conditions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u00a0KIDS LOVE THE CAT TRACKS<\/strong> Time on snow is the key to teaching little ones to ski. The more time they spend sliding, the faster they improve. The 1,300 meter long cat track is one of the best teaching runs in the valley.<\/p>

We have taught hundreds of kids, from two years old and up, to ski on this run. Often families go from tentative gliding to stopping and turning in a single oar a single charge.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

EXCELLENT DINING<\/strong> After a day on the slopes, enjoy a pizza at The Base Bar or a slice at the gourmet pizza restaurant at the resort’s base. The mid-mountain cafeterias, Station 47 and Zima, offer excellent dining options, while Hakuba Goryu and Iimori have several on-mountain dining options to choose from.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

TERRAIN OPTIONS<\/strong> There’s a lot for all levels, and skiing at no different. Hakuba 47 offers terrain for all levels\u2014from gentle beginner runs to steep and challenging advanced runs. As a ski school, it’s essential to be able to easily access a wide range of terrain. Great Beginner Terrain. The mid-mountain is an excellent training ground for beginner skiers and snowboarders. Long Intermediate Trails. The resort features several long trails that run from the top to the bottom. These trails are excellent for intermediate skiers to hone their skills. Great for those who want to take your skiing up a notch, Hakuba 47 has the best lift-accessible tree skiing in the valley.<\/p>

Maybe, if you’re like me and a bit of a powder hound, the back side of the Cat lifts gives you access to some of the longest powder magic in the valley.\u00a0 This is where our instructors go to train spring moguls. For those seeking adventure and varied, Hakuba 47 has the best freestyle park. It has a half-pipe, three jump lines from small to large, and various boxes.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
